Our daughters, Addie and Eloise, were both born with Heterotaxy Syndrome, a rare defect which causes many congenital heart defects and affects the arrangement of organs. Interestingly enough, our families connected through a mutual employer and we discovered our similar paths, just two months apart. Our journeys have been hard and they will never be over, but our unexpected friendship has provided so much love and support. This CHD journey can be lonely, and our hope is to share stories, experiences, advice, and heart family interviews to help connect families.
